The waveswept rocks of Broome’s Gantheaume Point seep myriad colours as the twice daily tides pummel higher and higher. Ledges and edges earlier on good for a wander and a gaze, quickly hold their breath and brace for the surge. Sometimes not even the sturdiest tripod is safe, the most well buffered photographer out of peril. But then again, capturing the rush, then hush, of each wave break is worth the risk. Canon 5D Mk 2.
