Cry Me A Mountain

The Dolomite Mountains in Italy.
Last year my seventeen year old son and I trekked through the best of the Alta Via 1 & 2 in the Italian Dolomite mountains on a six day self-guided trek. We stayed in a different Rifugio every night and covered a total distance of approximately 75 kilometres.
On day 2 it was quite tough as we were caught in bad weather. Eventually when we arrived at Rifugio Lagazuoi we
were greeted with the most stunning mountain range.
This mountain range had such an emotional impact upon me that it moved me to tears , hence why I chose the title.
