This is one of my Favourite shots, taken at Cape Schank on Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, it is famous for it’s harsh coastline, hence the lighthouse. Over the years it has made claim to quite a few ships due to it’s hidden reefs and unpredictable waves.
Just as l reached the top of the hill overlooking the Lighthouse l saw this old dead tree, l decided to make it a focal point with the lighthouse in the background. The clouds and the shot being in black and white really add to the effect.
