This image was taken around 5:45am in Docklands Melbourne. I work in the area every day but never really get to appreciate it’s unique qualities. I wanted to capture the striking beauty and serenity of the area at night, without hiding it is distinctly inner Melbourne location and heritage. Photo was captured using a tripod on a SONY RX100, ISO 80, focal length 10.4mm, f/7.1, 30 second exposure, processed in Nik Software’s HDR Efex Pro 2, and Adobe Lightroom 4. I’m an amateur photographer, having taken up this new passion around 18 months ago. This was my third night shoot.
