This photograph was taken in the aftermath of grass fires in Wollert, Victoria February 2013. The decapitated head of a fox or wild dog was discovered amongst the destruction on a large goat farm. My work as a documentary photographer and filmmaker explores how natural calamities and resulting trauma, continue to shape the Australian psyche.
