The Goethe-Institut Australien and Sydney College of the Arts, The University of Sydney will present a special preview exhibition of work by Sibylle Bergemann during May 2012, followed by an extensive  showcase of her work in the SCA Galleries during August. Sibylle Bergemann (29 August 1941 – 2 November 2010) was an internationally acclaimed German photographer. In 1990, she co-founded the Ostkreuz photographers agency. She is remembered for documenting developments in East Berlin during the Communist era and for her international assignments for Stern and later for Geo. An exhibition by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations) in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut  Australien.
