Such great heights is a collection of images created globally that delve into the human desire to launch oneself into a body of water from as great a height as one’s bravery permits. As a visual artist, I’ve always been fascinated by watching people daringly leap into the unknown and experience the ultra-short thrill of flying.

Danin Kahn is a photographer based in Sydney Australia. His primary interest is in capturing the ‘theatre of life’ – those elements of every day moments juxtaposed sublimely amongst one another, immortalising a slice of chaos. Danin has a passion for visually documenting the shifting views towards climate change, the polarisation of Australian politics and media as well as the changing face of Sydney’s eastern beaches. Danin studied at the Australian Centre for Photography (ACP) and his work has been showcased in the Head On Photo Festival in 2011 and 2013.
