Presented by the directors of the creative production house XRay Doll, Wassim Bazzi and Chrissie Hall, Shards of Glitter is one of the most exciting exhibitions to be shown this year. Starring Australia’s most influential adult performer and International glamour model, Miss Phoenix Knight, the show takes the ideas of sex and the mainstream and turns them inside out with its pop surrealist style.

The artists’ visual influences of Toshio Saeki, David LaChapelle and Stanley Kubrick shine through as it combines the notions of fantasy and reality. The show comprises a mixture of printed works and video elements set to the backdrop of a glitchy yet delicately carnal soundscape to transport you into its dark and glittery world. The artworks present a debased carnival of temptation with its fusion of amazing colour scapes, fantastical and unworldly locations and its uniquely hedonic compositions to form an incredibly individual and powerful exhibition that is not to be missed.

Opening on Thursday the 23rd of May and running through to the 26th at the intimate China Heights Gallery, the show will feature a jaw dropping live interactive performance on its opening night by the show’s star Miss Phoenix Knight. Warning: This show contains live nudity and is not for the modest minded.
