Our love affair with dolls dates back to time immemorial. Since early civilization doll remnants have been identified in Egyptian, Greek and early Roman cultures, and they were the earliest known form of toy discovered in Egyptian tombs.

What is it about dolls, created in our likeness that continues to hold spiritual, magical and ritual value? In this exhibition you will meet a series of ladies (and men) who have shared the secret lives of women in Sydney. Read their stories and find out what makes them so unique.
