Low key Portraits taken by Elena Lunn have a very intimate feel, and provide an emotional impact.
The images presented on this show are rather a selection of random portraits, without a specific theme or agenda. They are just what Elena calls ‘dramatic portraits’. “I rarely plan those, they simply happen while I am working on different photographic assignments, both personal and commissioned, with some improvisation and interpretation in postproduction in order to create a certain mood. I often portray actors, models, and simply people who I know and find visually interesting.”
