Photography has always played an essential role in the queer community. It is a means of being visible – visibly queer, visibly gay, visibly true.
Curated and produced by Head On Foundation, Queertography is an insightful and diverse series by twelve photographic artists that add depth to queer representation and explores LGBTQIA+ experiences caught on camera.
The exhibition at Belvoir, features two out of twelve internationally renowned photographers.

This exhibition is in collaboration with the Belvour St Theatre production of Holding the man – a sincere, achingly funny, and utterly heart-wrenching. It’s the love story which defined a generation, and a classic of the Australian stage, in a brand-new production at Belvoir St Theatre.
Curator: Moshe Rosenzveig OAM
Assistant Curators: Anita Schwartz, Stephen Godfrey
Queertography was originally featured as part of Pride Amplified at World Pride 17/2/23 – 5/3/23
