The Deardorff Project is an exhibition of Angie Turnbull’s silver gelatin hand-made photographs of science-related collection material at the Powerhouse Museum using her 8×10” large format film, Deardorff camera.
Objects were selected to demonstrate the scope of the collection as well as intrigue and challenge Angie with their form, material or other unique attributes.
Science objects are not often viewed as aesthetic and Angie wants to unlock their the intrinsic beauty through her images
