Erik Johansson is a photographer and retouch artist from Sweden based in Prague, Czech Republic. He doesn’t capture moments, he capture ideas. He uses photography as a way to collect material to realize the idea in the computer. One single image can consist of hundreds of layers but he always want to make it look as if it was only one. Erik finds inspiration everywhere, while taking a walk, listening to music or surfing the web. Inspiration is more about looking at the world differently, trying to combine things that are normally not supposed to be. It always starts with an idea, then he photographs all the parts needed and finally put all the pieces together in the computer.
Erik has been doing this for the past ten years and he is just getting started. Capturing the impossible
