A detailed insight into the American landscape
Lost America examines a quiet stillness in a forgotten landscape that is, in a sense, on pause. Over the past few decades America has witnessed industrial redundancy, economic crisis, natural disaster, terrorism, and paranoia. The result of these burdens can be interpreted in a static and multifarious landscape. Worn-out places seem frozen in time and have become reminders of when America was building itself a brighter future, while others display wealth and comfort in seemingly untouchable suburbs where everything is as it should be.
