Bernadette Smith draws on photographs taken during her Carss Park Artist Residency to explore relationships between migration, colonialism and the environment. Reflecting on her identity as the child of a migrant and a fourth-generation settler, she presents a visual and philosophical meditation on changes wrought by settlers to the land and its First Nations people.
Artist talk on 2:30pm June 2nd.
