This exhibition features a series of photographs realised during the Tour de France 2013 by French born photographer, Jean-Pierre Ronco.
For Jean-Pierre, it was a dream that became reality.
Since a young age, he has always followed the Tour de France on his televion screen, and enjoyed the rides of his heroes such as Bernard Hinault and Laurent Fignon.
This year, it was a great privilege for him to witness this wonderful spectacle as a photographer.
The 100th Edition of the Tour de France has been a unique and unforgettable adventure for him with all the breathtaking French landscapes, where the history of the tour was written and where new lines were just been written in front of his camera.
Inspired by the work of sport photographers such as Mark Gunter, Jean-Pierre has succeeded in capturing through his lens the effervescence and the passion running during this world wide event.
“Heroes of July” is an exhibition which will enchant everyone, from children to adults, who love cycling, France and the Tour de France, of course…
