TIM WOODHAM – Artist Statement : At The Speed of Light

I like to imagine viewing the world while travelling at the speed of light.  With light waves bent and distorted – just as Albert Einstein described it.
I enjoy travel and seek out subjects that capture the soul of a place and its people.
The images in this exhibition reflect my inner thoughts and dreams.
I love the lasting quality of black and white photographs. They are real, they exist, and you can visit them again and again.

With At The Speed of Light, I want to create something timeless and lasting.  More meaningful and durable than the momentary gratification and transience of YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Official Opening Event on Thursday 26 May, 6-8pm
