For more than 200 years Catholic organisations have been part of the fabric of Australian society.
They teach our children, care for the sick, create homes for the elderly and support the poor.
The Church in Australia employs over 180,000 people who work as teachers and nurses, doctors and accountants, cleaners and cooks and a multitude of other vocations.
Oliver Strewe has spent the last year travelling to Catholic workplaces to document the Church’s work today and the changing face of its ministries and people.
In doing this, he has captured its diversity and the unique connection between the spiritual and the everyday world of work.
The exhibition’s officlal opening will be held from 6-8pm on 22 May in the Crypt of the Cathedral. It’s open to the public and we are taking registrations on this site:
