In October 2009, well known landscape photographers joined SWS Region Discovery staff and local Aboriginal Elders to participate in a three day photographic adventure at Currango Homestead in Northern Kosciuszko National Park. Over the weekend photographers recorded the many inspiring aspects of the NSW High Country: its people; landscapes; pioneering heritage and Aboriginal Culture. This exhibition supports NPWS Discovery Programs. All funds raised will be donated to the NPWS and SWS Region Discovery Programs to provide further training and employment opportunities for Aboriginal people to learn tour guiding and tourism related skills that will increase not only their employment prospects but also provide the opportunity for reconnecting with country and their traditional culture.

Participating photographers: Andy Stavert, Bruce Usher, Jenny Blau, Josh Boyd, Jules Ober, Julian May, Mark Lang, Micheal Simmons, Murray Vanderveer, Nick May, Peter Solness, Rene Vogelzang, Robert Walsh, Robert Morehead
