In Jamestown, Accra, boxing is a profound tradition, offering young boys and girls hope to break free from the grasp of poverty. Local gyms become both training grounds and hubs of inspiration, shaping hardworking and determined individuals. Beyond competition, boxing in Jamestown fosters community and camaraderie during spirited fight nights, where the neighbourhood passionately supports its young fighters.

This rich tradition promotes health and well-being and provides a tangible opportunity for the youth to rise above the challenges of poverty, symbolising the resilience and aspirations of Jamestown’s spirit.
