The garden is the silent background to science, philosophy and art. The earliest 19th century photographic experiments where tied to the study of plants. In this exhibition three diverse bodies of work survey the role of the garden as a concept within current photographic practice. The photographic practices of Catherine Rogers, Paul Ogier and Rowan Conroy are concerned with the intersection of photographic technology, landscape history, and the physicality of the print.
