Uluru Rain

2010 was the wettest on record in Central Australia. As a photographer based in Alice Springs, Peter Carroll has been well positioned to observe and record the changes rain brings to a desert landscape.
Peter has visited Uluru 3 times a year for the past 4 years. This exhibition documents a rare moment in time when on one of these visits, Uluru/kataTjuta NP received close its annual rainfall in a single night. It was October 14, 2010.
Captured in the rain at dawn, the images on display are an attempt to share the experience of witnessing a truly remarkable natural event.
Official Opening Event on Monday 16 May, 6pm
