Over the past 10 years, we exhibited the works of more than 5000 artists however we received zero dollars from Australia Council and only a tiny fraction of the amount other similar events such as the Writers, Film or Fringe Festivals receive from other public funders.
We all know how difficult it is to create and survive as an artist - if we as a society do not support the filmmakers, writers, artists and photographers through these festivals and other activities we will live in a society that does not celebrate life or question the status quo .
Please ensure Head On and the photographic community get the support we need to keep this Festival going.
