Fraud Blocker

The Vanguard was brought new by my neighbour Errol Rose in 1959. He drove it until it couldn’t be driven anymore. It was then parked in the paddock. No one can remember exactly when that was but when I moved to Wisemans Ferry in 1986 the Vanguard already lay abandoned next door. Over 26 years (and still counting) I have watched rust gnawing away at it, mosses and lichens clinging to the nooks & crannies, consuming and creeping into it, devouring the very heart and substance of the old Vanguard.

Every year the Vanguard grows more and more beautiful as Mother Nature takes it back for her own.
