Fraud Blocker

A new Ulaanbaatar, UB to most, is emerging as opportunistic Mongolians sieze the momentum created by foreign investment and the fall of Communism. New office buildings burst up from dusty construction sites to replace Communist-style apartments, thai restaurants and coffee shops rub shoulders with local delgoors, and new Mongolians drive along the pot-holed streets in new, black shiny Hummers. Yet tradition hangs on. UB Style takes a moment to capture UB as it is today, as a reminder for those looking forward. A mixture of a Soviet past, and a yearning to embrace the new. It is the era pre-KFC.
