On a recent journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City I was captured by small sanctuaries of calm that unassumingly balanced the buzz of Vietnams bustling populous.
Dotted with bullet holes and buddha’s, remnants of French architecture and flood waters, the images selected for this photobook reflect layers of a rich and volatile cultural heritage and enduring strength of spirit maintained by the Vietnamese throughout their country’s turbulent past.
