The crystal clear waters, steep forested hills, open
prairie lands of Poronui, New Zealand are an invitation
to wile away the days at the river. The beautiful, idyllic
waterways surrounded by ferns, verdant undergrowth
and towering beech forests are a perfect escape from the
rigours of urban life. The images here are a mixture of
the antique, the modern, and a response to the physical
nature of the environment. The management of the
catch and release policy and of the rivers and trout
keeps the human touch light.
We are fortunate places such as this exist.
