Love’s slipshod watchman is a series made with my daughter over fourteen years, beginning in 1996 when she was seven.
Originally conceived as a personal and cathartic response to my daughter’s recurrent nightmares; at age fourteen the series took on a life of it’s own as it focused on her transition from child to woman.
The first version of this book was made as a private gift for her 21st birthday in 2010, but the story of growing up has broader relevance, and since completing the series, I have had requests to make this work more public.
