I walk the city. I grew up in suburbia without a car. I walk to travel. And to think. I was a “flaneur” before I knew it: the urban stroll is my sport. Walking the walk. Footpaths. Roads, streets & lanes. Foot-sore. Over-caffeinated. Rambling on. The slow journey: speed is dumb. Time to think. Think, again. Chance discoveries. Happenstance. Happy. Looking. And seeing. The everyday. Every day. The ordinary. The overlooked. The forgotten. As is. The pretty/ugly. Man-made. Some things. Something. Lost. And, found. There. Now. Present.
