Nadine Saacks is a professional photographer based in Sydney Australia, on her travels around the world she captures people’s emotions and stories. On her trip to Cuba, through the streets of Habana, Trinidad and Cienfuegos she encountered people fighting poverty and oppression, but full of hope and happiness. Their soul is full of colour, music and dance. They gaze towards the future longing for a second revolution, one that will finally bring them peace and freedom.
From the fishermen in the sea, to the farmers in the sugarcane fields, to the kids playing soccer barefoot in the streets, they all long for a Cuba Libre!
